La serie latina Jane the Virgin, que protagoniza Jaime Camil, obtuvo tres nominaciones a los Critics' Choice Television Awards, informó TV Line.
Camil, quien da vida a Rogelio de la Vega (padre de Jane) en la serie, se sorprendió al ver su nombre en la categoría Mejor Actor de Reparto en Serie de Comedia y manifestó en redes sociales su emoción.

También la actriz de origen puertorriqueño Gina Rodríguez, quien ya obtuvo un Globo de Oro por este trabajo, fue nominada como Mejor Actriz de Comedia en Serie de Televisión, mientras que Jane the Virgin pelea como Serie de Comedia.
Camil compite contra Adam Driver (Girls), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless), T. J. Miller (Silicon Valley), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) y Tony Hale (Veep).
Jane the Virgin es una serie estadounidense transmitida por The CW y estrenada el 13 de octubre pasado. Es una adaptación de la telenovela venezolana Juana la Virgen.
