A punto de comenzar los Critics’ Choice Awards

Londres, Inglaterra.

La 'Forma del agua', de Guillermo del Toro, encabeza las nominaciones de los Critics’ Choice Awards con 14 menciones, incluyendo director y guion para el mexicano.

Las estrellas de Hollywood se reunirán esta noche en la entrega de los reconocidos premios como un preámbulo a los Oscar.

Entre las favoritas le siguen Call Me by Your Name, Dunkerque, Lady Bird y The Post con ocho. La competencia de Del Toro en la categoría de dirección es Greta Gerwig por Lady Bird, Martin McDonagh por Tres anuncios por un crimen, Christopher Nolan por Dunkerque, Luca Guadagnino por Call Me by Your Name, Jordan Peele por ¡Huye! y Steven Spielberg por The Post. La premiación se transmitirá hoy a partir de las 7:00 pm en el canal TNT.

Gal Gadot, la actriz que da vida a Wonder Woman, ha sido elegida por la Association of National Advertisers para recibir el premio See Her en los premios Critics’ Choice.

Se trata de un premio que funciona como reconocimiento a la mujer que expresa su valía en el movimiento #SeeHer, que impulsa el cambio de estereotipos y reconoce la importancia de retratar adecuadamente a las mujeres en el campo del entretenimiento.

La encargada de presentar a Gal Gadot será la propia Patty Jenkins, directora de la película de Wonder Woman, la princesa amazona que también apareció en la reciente película de superhéroes La Liga de la Justicia.
